Our Hematologists

Our team of hematologists are experts in general hematology, with extensive experience and training in diagnosing and treating a wide range of hematological disorders. We work collaboratively, both amongst ourselves and with provincial and national experts, to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. We regularly participate in conferences, training programs, and research initiatives to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in hematology. We are dedicated to improving the lives of our patients through expert care, and we strive to set the standard for excellence in hematology care for patients living within the South Fraser region.

Dr. Nikolas Desilet

Dr. Desilets originally from Victoria, completed medical school at the University of British Columbia and Internal Medicine at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. After finishing his Hematology training at the University of British Columbia, he received additional training in bone marrow transplant and myeloid disorders at the Vancouver General Hospital.

Dr. Anna Hayden

Dr. Hayden, from Vancouver, completed medical school, internal medicine residency, and a hematology fellowship at the University of British Columbia. She completed a lymphoma fellowship with the Vancouver BC Cancer Lymphoma Group.

Dr. Lauren Lee

Dr. Lee, from Vancouver, completed medical school, internal medicine residency, and a hematology fellowship at the University of British Columbia. After her hematology training, she pursued additional training in bone marrow transplant and myeloid disorders at Vancouver General Hospital.

Dr. Katherine Ng

Dr. Ng completed her medical education and internal medicine training in her hometown of Saskatoon. She specialized in hematology at the University of British Columbia. After her residency, Dr. Ng went on to complete the Clinical Educator Program at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Robert Schmidt

Dr. Schmidt, from Winnipeg , completed medical school at the University of Manitoba and continued his training with an internal medicine residency and hematology fellowship at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Schmidt had early career mentorship working with experienced lymphoid and myeloid groups.
